Hi all... I would just like to update you
with all the latest news ...it's been very hectic
of late... FIRST though, a big thank you for all the mails,
calls, encouragement and feedback to the current "Bleggae" campaign...

“Biggest news this month is the arrival 6 weeks ago of Oliver Hendrix Hain, my son!

People tell me it’s affecting my playing…for the better , I hope! Certainly I take many opportunities to do tributes to him and his namesake, especially since the uniquely wonderful Miss Clea Llewellyn is now singing and playing with us on a pretty regular basis, and she more than does justice to “Voodoo Chile!” It takes the band up a notch having her on board and I urge you to come see us at the Globe in Brentford(or “Chiswick borders” as we like to say!) on Saturday the 16^th of Feb. 2008

Had a wonderful session shortly before Christmas with Sir Stirling Moss, recording voiceovers to pictures I have taken of him for my “Lap Of Honour” DVD/CD project(see “Author”). Sitting in the corner was another great legend – Mark Knopfler, who dropped in to spend time with our mutual  boyhood hero! I have been revisiting Dire Straits lately, and especially love the album “On Every Street”. I even got to drive Stirling through the rush hour traffic! He was a bit late getting home, so I had explicit instructions to “Step on it, old boy!”Great fun…

Just had a message from my old friend Martin Ditcham, currently playing drums for Chris Rea, saying “Include Chris.” Meaning, he too would like to  contribute to “Lap Of Honour.”  I’ll  be off to see him in concert , and for a chat, on March 17 in Brighton.”
